It’s chocolate…it’s mousse…’nuff said! There is simply no way to not love this smooth and creamy dessert. Yes, it involves tofu. Trust us on this one. For many vegans, this is their go-to potluck dish!
Ingredients
- 340 grams of vegan chocolate chips. Noshu, Sweet Williams, and Pana make vegan ones!
- About 396 gram of soft silken tofu, drained. Silken tofu is often sold in the refrigerated vegan section at major supermarkets or at Asian grocery stores. (firm or extra-firm will also work)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Optional: 1 pre-made or homemade vegan pie crust.
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for 20 seconds at a time, stirring in between.
- Put tofu in a blender or food processor and blend until creamy.
- Add the chocolate and blend again.
- Add the vanilla and blend one final time.
- Pour into glasses, bowls, or pie crust.
- Place in the refrigerator and chill for at least 3 hours before eating.

*Most chocolate chips are vegan!
